By hiring a mobile cold room from Mobile Cold Room Hire, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Bookings & Payment

  • Bookings are confirmed once payment (or agreed deposit) is received.
  • Full payment must be made before delivery unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • All prices are in AUD and include GST unless stated otherwise.

2. Hire Period

  • The hire period starts from the agreed delivery or collection time and ends once the unit is collected by us.
  • Late returns may incur additional daily hire charges.

3. Cancellations

  • Cancellations made more than 48 hours prior to the hire start time may receive a full refund or credit.
  • Cancellations within 48 hours may incur a cancellation fee of up to 100% of the hire cost.
  • No refunds are provided for early returns or unused hire time.

4. Delivery & Access

  • You must ensure clear, safe access for delivery and collection.
  • Any additional time, access issues, or relocation requests may result in extra charges.
  • Once positioned, the cold room must not be moved without our approval.

5. Use of Equipment

  • Equipment must only be used for temperature-controlled storage.
  • You must ensure:
    • A suitable and continuous power supply, tested and tagged if a power supply or generator has not been included in your hire agreement
    • Proper ventilation
    • Doors are kept closed when not in use
  • The equipment must not be modified, tampered with, moved or repaired by anyone other than us.

6. Temperature & Power Responsibility

  • While our cold rooms are designed to maintain temperature, we are not responsible for loss or damage caused by:
    • Power outages
    • Incorrect use or overloading
    • Doors being left open
    • External environmental conditions
  • It is the customer’s responsibility to monitor temperature throughout the hire period, we will provide a fact sheet to assist your usage and care of the Mobile Cold Room.

7. Damage, Loss & Cleaning

  • You are responsible for the equipment from delivery until collection.
  • Any loss, theft, or damage (excluding fair wear and tear) may be charged.
  • Equipment must be returned in a reasonably clean condition. Additional cleaning fees may apply.

8. Insurance & Liability

  • You are responsible for insuring the equipment and any items stored inside it.
  • We are not liable for spoilage, loss of stock, or indirect or consequential losses.
  • Our liability is limited to the value of the hire fee paid, except where Australian Consumer Law applies.

9. Weather & Environmental Conditions

  • Equipment should be protected from extreme weather where possible.
  • Damage caused by flooding, storms, or environmental conditions may result in repair or replacement charges.

10. Termination of Hire

We reserve the right to end the hire immediately if the equipment is misused or these terms are breached.

11. Privacy

We collect and manage personal information in accordance with Australian privacy laws. Your details are used only for booking and communication purposes.

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
